Well, it was one of those mornings for us. I was frustrated. The kids were upset. We all needed a RESET button. I knew that nothing would reset us like God’s Word, but we were running late and I didn’t have time to sit down and do a family devotional time. So, I looked for a podcast to listen to on the way to school that would help fill the gap in our morning and adjust our course for the rest of the day.
I couldn’t find anything that was directed to kids, full of God’s Word, and something in which we could all participate.
And this is where Backseat Bible Nuggets was born.
My goal is to put an easy tool in the hand of parents and caregivers that helps accomplish God’s commandment to us to impress these things upon our children as we walk along the way. (Deuteronomy 6:7)
The most powerful influence in the spiritual development of a child is seeing and hearing about God’s character throughout their day. This podcast is a tool to help you do just that!
